The 40th Heads of State summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), meeting in Maputo on Monday, pledged "commitment to support Mozambique in addressing terrorism and violent attacks". This follows Militants linked to the Islamic State group have seizing heavily defended port in Mozambique.
