MPCSD Citizens for Change Address School Board

On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today JohnBain takes you to the Mount Pleasant School Board meeting where Scott Fedler and Kurt Schinstock of MPCSD Citizens for Change addressed the Board of Education on their proposed $40 Million Bond Proposal. The gentlemen discussed their concerns regarding; Logistics, Safety, hindering of potential growth, having to maintain two elementary buildings, design of class sizes versus potential for increased enrollment, and Lack of transparency to the public about offers to purchase buildings that are on Iowa Wesleyan College campus. This all happened March 10, 2025.
