Mr. Annand live at Tropical 17-Year Anniversary Warehouse Jam, 10/9/15

Tropical was born on Friday, October 9, 1998 and this year we celebrated the anniversary exactly, to both the day and day of the week - Friday October 9, 2015! The party featured 5 djs with over 100 years combined experience playing a mix of music old and new. A success on all levels, Tropical added another $1,051 to the total donated to charity causes over the years. Our beneficiary, Give a Beat, works with underprivileged youth in neighborhoods exactly like the one this party was held it My set was from roughly 2:45-4:15am and despite not being able to prepare much, I'm very happy with how it came out. After I got used to the sweltering temperature behind the decks (can't really take a break from it when djing)I was fueled by the love and energy of the Tropical dance floor, which was in full force! We don't throw too many warehouse parties these days but this was a real good one that truly brought back the old days of Tropical.
