Mr. C’s adventure

from My blurred opinion · host Timothy West

This episode is with Mark Chartier, and when we first started to talk I instantly knew that he was a good guy based on the energy he gave off. As a kid, he acted out poorly in school and had different tics and movements that weren't entirely understood until later in life. When he was finally diagnosed they told him he had Tourette's syndrome, and his life goes this was only the beginning of his journey, because later he end up suffering a brain injury that caused him to have a huge stutter, but all in all, he did not let that stop him either. He remembered all the people who helped him over his journey and when he thought back to those people they all had a common theme, and that made him get into the special education field by becoming a teacher. And now he is a disability advocate, a self-published author, and most importantly a beautiful person who is making a difference https://www.markchartier.com
