In a loftty hall in a museum at night, the night watchman is distracted by a phone call. Who is the dark figure who breaks in, and what does he want? What happened to the watchman who seems to have vanished into thin air? Mr District Attorney is on the scene to ggather the details, and investigate the mtter. Valuable paintings are at stake, and a previous attempt may be important. As clues emerge, the District Attorney thinks professional crime at the International level is at work. Has anything actually been stolen? Has anybody actually been murdered? Though a trap is set for the International thieves, they get away the miniature painting. Hope is not lost, since the crooks need to get out of the country with it. Will the District Attorney turn up any accomplices that he can put on the pressure?
