Although Mr. Gundlach is a regular teacher, when it comes to bats he’s scared. It was almost 9:30 on Wednesday night and Mr. Gundlach couldn’t get any work done because there was a winged mammal in the building. He was nervous at night like a scared little boy. Mr. Gundlach decided to look for the winged mammal. He was whispering like a soccer player. Mr. Gundlach thought that the bat was on the ceiling but it was just cracked paint. He was so smiley it looked like he just got out of a toaster. He was going to sign off for the night and go home, but then he came back into the classroom. He was so scared that his shoulders were crunched up like a football player. He put a laundry basket on his head and he said, winged mammals you can’t get me now and then he went downstairs. He acted proud like he was done taking a bath in fact, Mr. Gundlach was a big hero at first, but when it came to bats he’s scared.
