Welcome to this week's installment of Mr. P.'s Tales from the Road,an extra-special and extended episode in which we dive into one of my favorite stories of supernatural weirdness! 56 years ago, a strange cryptid creature terrorized a small Ohio Valley town, kicking off a legend unlike any other; the MOTHMAN OF POINT PLEASANT, WEST VIRGINIA. This bizarre story has captivated me since the fourth grade and compelled me to travel to Point Pleasant myself later in life to do some exploring and witness the locations involved with this infamous legend. High, high strangeness, dark shadowy forces menacing townspeople for daring to discuss what they’d seen, supremely sad tragedies and forlorn exploratory locations abound, so get comfy, whip up a snack, grab a frosty beverage of choice (adult or otherwise) and enjoy the next hour or so!
