In this edition, we head back to Youngstown, Ohio to tell the tale of “Black Monday,” the beginning of the downfall of America’s industrial might, and the abandoned community of company homes that were built by the Youngstown Sheet and Tube, home to the thousands of workers that once worked steel there. Known as IRON SOUP, this decaying community can still be visited and marveled at today, a time capsule of a moment in history where steel was king.
