In the story of Job, we see a righteous man and his wife suffer extreme hardship and loss. Yet, because Job chose to worship God in the midst of the suffering, God restored to him and his wife greater blessing. It does not erase the pain they suffered, but God carried Job through, even when his wife struggled in her job to encourage him in the Lord, and God offers us His same companionship in all of our suffering on this earth.
