Ms. Dilpreet Kandhari, a health and fitness coach with Yes 2 Staying Fit. She is effervescent & enthusiastic lady who has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for the last 20 years. Her father has been her greatest support in this journey. It wasn’t an easy task for her as she was going through a transition in her life, it was hardly 5 days when she started her college where diabetes came into existence. To motivate her, her family stopped eating junk food and sugary food items so that she is able to follow a healthy routine. Insulin was administered to her and she was still learning every bit of it and accepting the harshness of this life. Dilpreet father is her pillar of support who always did everything for Dilpreet and motivated her to go on with confidence.Not just the diabetes highs and lows, she also had other tough challenges in her life. Her marriage was one of them; she was married and has two lovely sons. With the grace of god, she was pregnant just after 2 months of marriage. But her ex-husband and his family never weresupportive to her, she shares how she made all her gynae and endocrinologist consultation all by herself. She went through all such struggles and ended the marriage after 2 years. Now she is single, taking care of her two sons who get inspired by their mother’s strength. Life comes up with challenges and struggles. We do learn from our experiences, and this is what makes us strong.
