His multi decade spanning career has seen him paint a colourful journey behind him, playing an integral part in the history of Techno and the development of its early stages amongst the greats in the US. Raw edge sounds with a killer groove at the heart, meandering between the sounds of Detroit, and the heavier shades of the techno spectrum are what have earned him his reputable status. In some respects the American’s music bypasses the melodic classicalism of Detroit for a stripped-back European take on techno, though the mettlesome machine - funk of his raw DJ and production style. As a regular guest at Tresor, with no stranger to bookings at Berlin’s Berghain, Griessmuehle and ://about blank, to his residency at Steevio’s Freerotation festival in Wales, Myles is a shining example of how one can traverse the European-American transatlantic divide.
