The art and component quality is staggering, the asymmetrical play works really nicely, and it’s easy to teach to new players. 49:16 – Crescent Moon is from Osprey Games, Steven Mathers and Navid Rahman. It’s a slightly weird proposition, having a very specific player count. But the asymmetry is streamlined, the game leans into its theme to great effect, and the whole thing has us wanting to play it over and over.
