She is a rock opera vocalist, award-winning songwriter, and multifaceted performer. Her original opera metal compositions recently debuted at Carnegie Hall. She also serves as a National Trustee for the Recording Academy for the GRAMMY Awards. She is the frontwoman and founder of the alternative metal band Meka Nism. She has played over 150 shows across Japan as a solo act, theater performer, and in the J-pop/America Rock project Origami Girls.  Meka has been featured on the groundbreaking album “Visions of Sounds” - by Chris Redding in his efforts to make an album to reach his autistic son.   She recently worked on Alice Cooper's latest charity project, “Rock for Children!” She has been recognized as Orlando Weekly's "Best of Orlando" - Metal Act and Best Of Music Scene.  Ms. Meka Nism recently debuted at Carnegie Hall with her original opera metal compositions.
