Today's gospel reading describes the Transfiguration of our Lord, where Jesus revealed his divine glory to Peter, James, and John on Mt. Tabor, appearing with Moses and Elijah and transforming with a dazzling, white radiance. Msgr. McCormac creates a wonderful analogy to help us to understand what Jesus is doing. He suggests that Jesus is trying to give his apostles a glimpse of the glory that He will return to, and that we will inherit one day.
