Msgr. McCormac's Homily for The Sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time - Sunday, February 15, 2026

In today's homily, Msgr. McCormac explains how Jesus expands on His previous teachings. For example, thou shalt not kill expands to include anger between people, especially in families, and thou shalt not commit adultery expands to include looking at a man or woman with lust. He reminds us that "a little white lie" is not from God, and should be avoided. All of these commands must be taken into our hearts, and become a part of the fabric of our lives. The Lord has given us a free will, and He wants us to choose Him, every time, by choosing His teachings and making them a part of our lives. Have a Blessed Week!!
