In the dead of night as people sleep, that is when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three dark things take power, we like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, this is your host Raven, and this is the Supernatural Hour podcast. I did that backwards, but hey.
Mr. Chad, is your drink? This is Emmett. And it's Doc.
Alright, so for the business brought to you by Castle Photo Art, we had some business that we have done. We've got some upcoming events. So many upcoming events. So many.
And we're trying to get an investigation going for September, the middle of September, and we've had a couple of things fall through that we were really excited about. And the fall through wasn't, no you can't ever come here. It was, yes, but you have to wait until next year. So we will be going to those areas, and we're pretty excited about that.
Because the other two fall through is, we're going to come here. Yeah. From before. But we've got our Summer Shin Dig coming up.
That's going to be on August 26th, Saturday, correct? Yes. To get more information on that and be able to come. We need to be one of our insiders on Patreon.
So go out to Patreon and become a supernatural insider and you can still make that event. So speaking of Patrons, we have two new ones. Two new Patrons, yeah. And two new Patrons.
If you signed up within the last couple weeks and you haven't gotten your welcome kit yet, my kids start school tomorrow and I start school Monday. So be patient with me. I will get it sent out to you. We'll get them out.
And the other thing that we do need to know with both of you is how do you want to be addressed so that we can address you on here and give the big welcome to you. So we're excited about that. And a shout out to all of our Patrons. We are really grateful for your help and support.
You allow us to do the things that we're doing. We do have an event schedule. We do. And it's even up on our website.
Did you know I got that up last night? I did not. Yeah. We're going to be having probably two of the dead talk events at the Hub Theater.
The first one will be on September 30th at 7 to 11 PM. Tickets are available out on advancedparanormal.com slash events through event rights. So you should be able to go out and get those if you're interested in going to that. This is the one where Raven does about an hour and a half presentation and shares video audio evidence and different things.
And we talk about advancedparanormal and then we have about an hour and a half investigation after that. So we're excited about that. Did you say what needed once? That's September 30th.
And we will probably, based upon how our attendance goes on that, we will probably have one and we've got it penciled in and scheduled with the Hub. Another one on October 26th. October 26th. That's a Thursday.
I'm just sitting here looking at our September and October calendar. And pretty much if you guys want something for a weekend, you're kind of outlook. Because about two thirds of it is ghost hunting stuff and the rest is football games. We have several library presentations coming up and as they get a little closer, we'll put them up.
It'll be on the advanced paranormal site. And between now and September, I can guarantee you we'll have two or three more people call and want spooky stuff. It's crazy. September or not, October is just nuts.
And I can guarantee you we're probably going to have to turn someone down. So if you're listening to us and you want us to come and do a presentation, you better call and schedule soon because we don't have that many days left. And there are some weekdays available, but weekends are pretty much filled up. Yes.
And remember Raven goes to school. So I might say no to a week, night if I've got homework. All right. I think that's it for the business unless you can think of anything else.
Residentials? Residentials. We are working again with the family. Scheduling is just nuts.
And it's really weird because I think whatever is there doesn't want us there because we'll get it scheduled and then something happens. We get it scheduled and something happens. And I just talked to the family today and they're like, I said, you know, we just can't get the scheduled and they're like, I know we think that they don't want you coming out and I'm like, exactly. That's what I thought too.
So we do have one in the works. We just things keep happening and we have to reschedule. But we did do an investigation this last weekend, which was fantastic. This is one of our paid presentations, one of the events that we do, the ocean of that.
Yeah. And it was okay. So, Emmett, what did you guys think of Piot? Let's hear it.
That was awesome. We did the investigation. We were just walking around the courthouse or what? All of it.
Anything you want to talk about, Drake, we'll let you go first. I mean, besides getting punched by a type three. This was a very physical investigation. We'll get to mine later, but mine comes later in the timeline.
Go ahead, Drake. I mean, we weren't even investigating. We were just walking through. And I didn't even feel as though, after we walked out.
But apparently while we were up in the courthouse in the holding cells, I got punched by a type three. Like hard, like you could see where it punched me. Yeah, it was pretty nice. Well, and when you showed me when you said, you know, it's my face, right?
Like it punched in the face. We left and I mean, but it had been a good five, ten minutes. Yeah, we were out. We were out front.
We were out front towards the hotel. Yeah. I think by that time we were back in front of that cafe. Let's see my little background on this courthouse.
Okay. So and why we didn't know about it for the investigation. So a couple of years ago, we talked about ghost towns and and Chad and I got a little bug in our ear to kind of go visit some of these ghost towns. So we headed down to P.H.
and we we, maybe me, I don't know, but there was an impression that P.H. was like a hardcore ghost town. Like it was ruins and tumbleweeds and rattlesnakes and we'd be out there by our lonely and we got a room in Cedar City, which is 90 minutes away. So we get to P.H.
I'm like, well, dang, this is an actual town with restaurants and stores and a hotel and I kind of wanted to stay there, but we already had a room in Cedar City. So I said, we've got to bring a team down here. So while Chad and I were there a couple of years ago, we talked to the people at the Overland. That's the hotel we stayed at.
And it's haunted? Everything is haunted. The one that they talk about that's where people have been killed. But when we booked it, they're like, everything's haunted.
And then we went to the Opera House and we talked to the fellow there. We weren't able to get the Opera House because there was an event and it had already been rented out that day. There was like a motorcycle event. I did not see a motorcycle in that town the entire weekend.
I saw two. I saw two. I saw two. I saw one.
I did not take that back. I saw one. It was in the back of the truck. Anywho.
And I think it was more of a dirt bike motorcycle rally rather than a street bike, a huge rally. So not quite so visible. So I was like, we've got to bring the team down here and just go to the space because it's awesome. I said he does an old town, old mining town.
When we decided to go down there as a team, I called and I'm talking to the lady at the overland and I'm like, okay, so besides the hotel and the Opera House, is there anything else we could go investigate? She's like, no, no, no. And so I was like, okay. So we get down there.
And one of our team members, he and his dad had got there a couple hours, or a couple hours, like the day before. And they explored all over. I mean, he was like, African tour guide. And he's like, oh, you got to come see the courthouse and the jail.
We walk into the courthouse and the jail and I'm like, holy cow, if I had known about this. This is where the investigation would have been centered. We could have had the investigation here. And so I mentioned to someone, I said, when I called and asked if there's anywhere else to investigate and I'm like pointing my arms all around like I'm down a white.
But you know, when you live there, you probably just don't think of it. Yeah. I don't know. And they may not have realized what I was looking for, but I mean, the whole town's haunted.
So. It's also a location of Boot Hill Cemetery, the Boot Hill, which we had a pretty amazing experience with or at. That is a really cool cemetery. However, I came across an issue with that cemetery.
Do you tell? You want to describe the cemetery before I tell my story? Well, it's kind of divided into two sections. There's a modern cemetery with grass and modern headstones and recent headstones.
And then along two sides of it runs, you know, the historical part of Boot Hill where graves you know, go back a hundred years, you know, practically. And they don't, most of those don't even have headstones. It's just a simple board with somebody's name and date carved into it. Yeah, they go back into the 17 or the 1870s, 1880s.
Some of those original ones that they carved. Yeah. Some of them aren't even legible anymore. And with this in the Boot Hill part, these were the itinerant miners and gunslinger.
And I read it. Not the city folk. Right. I read it.
Yeah, there was a poppers grave section which, you know, was kind of for the neirdo wells and the poor and then the city leaders actually had real headstones and monuments and little iron fences around their graves. And there was a little Chinese monument too, a little built thing for all the Chinese that had died mining there. And then there was a Masonic section over in the newer part. And if I remember right when we were in the museum, the courthouse museum, I think the ones in the Boot Hill with the wood carved, I think those were the murders.
Yeah. But those were the people that had been there. They were not just murderers. Except there was one baby there.
Yeah. We'll talk about that more. No, I think it was the murderers and the poppers, the people that didn't have any kind of means. But these headstones are so cool.
We'll put pictures up when we put this up on YouTube. But my favorite one says, jumped by a coward while mining his claim. We didn't even know his name. That's what scarfed on the headstone.
Is that not cool? Wow. And then there's one like, I don't remember the exact name, but it's like David Dobbs shot by William Dobbs and it's like, well, there's a story there. Then there's one that was killed over a dog.
I'm thinking, how drunk are you to shoot someone over a dog? Hey, that was some dog. So I have gone here my issue about the Boot Hill Cemetery though. So the first time I saw it was during the day, and I'm like, this is really cool.
I did not expect it to be as cool as it was. And then when we went out this time, we went like that again because I wanted everyone to see it in the daylight. We're walking around having a great time, you know, looking at these headstones and stuff. And there's been a lot of damage since we were there two years ago because there's a lot fewer standing headstones with stories on them which made me sad.
And when we say headstones, these are the boards. So we go out there to actually investigate what, like ten o'clock at night. And I've got my gear and I'm excited to actually investigate these at night, you know. Where it was much cooler than it was when we got there in the day.
Yes, it was very cool. It was kind of threatened to rain a little bit. And someone said black widow. And when I shined my light on the boards, there's probably about 30 of these headstones.
About five of them had black widows. And if you know me, me and spiders are not a thing. And so I was paranoid the entire time I were there. I didn't get close to the headstones.
I stood like the very toes. Before I would pick up my equipment, I had to shine my spotlight flashlight everywhere and make sure I didn't take a black widow with me. I was trying to catch them. Had a little panic attack every time I walked to a new headstone.
You know, I was really excited to investigate there. But at the same time I was very glad to leave because me and spiders, the hard deal. Well, we did have a few young deer come wandering through in the middle of our graveyard investigation. I'd say it was more than a few.
There's quite a few. Okay. Five or six maybe. Yeah.
So it was the same ones keep coming around because they like this. Okay, so this is not a wildlife show. What's the ghost show? So at the Overland, we were able to investigate in the, what do they call it?
The dance hall. The dance hall, yeah. And when we were in there, this was just the team first. Yeah, I mean, this is a team we got in there and.
Uh, oh, I'm sitting kind of against a wall because we had a lot of equipment out and we had a couple of spirits that were talking to us and Emmett goes, there's a spirit standing on your head, Raven. And I was like, Oh, okay. That's I was looking. I had the SLS going and aimed at Raven and all of a sudden there he was.
Yeah. Enough. And then you'd say he's gone and then you'd say come back, please and it would come back and you did that what four or five times? Oh, yeah.
I mean, he actually was there for, I don't know, somewhere between five and 10 minutes. And then you said he keeps kicking you in the head. Yeah. And I couldn't feel anything.
And I was like, okay, you know, rude. But the next day, and even, I don't know, maybe it doesn't hurt now and it's been a couple days, but for like a day and a half, my eyebrow hurt. I mean, not like painful hurt, but like I pushed on it. It was just a little tender and I haven't smacked my eyebrow on anything.
There's not like a pimple or anything under there. It was just tender. So I think it was injury from a ghost kicking me for 10 minutes in the forehead. Well, from what I saw, that's perfectly believable.
Really? He was dancing on your head and shoulders. It was for a long time. So Doc, tell us about when the bartender came up to us.
Oh, yeah. So you and I were out getting chicken wings and playing video poker and blackjack. And the bartender at the saloon said, Hey, I got to tell you something. He's like back in that dance hall, there's a little cooler area with a greater area.
And he said, I swear to God, every time I go in there, I turn the light on, I walk out and come back and someone's turned the light off. And he's like, I'm not even joking. He's like, there's gotta be something back there. So you and I, I just going to be pretty weak on instead of gambling and chicken wings.
But the chicken wings were good. They were very good. We went in and told the group about it and it sounds like they investigated it and found it. So tell us about what you guys found when you investigated that part.
So we went back there and it was heavy and there were actually two type threes. And if you've just started listening to us, the type three is a demonic entity. And they did not like that they were found. I think we found type four, too.
Yeah. So the type four, again, if you've just started listening to us as an elemental, the elemental was, I mean, he was pretty chill. Yeah, he was just there. But the type threes were not happy with this.
And at one point, the atmosphere got so dark and so heavy back there. I'm like, yeah, we're done. We just got to go out before something that happens. And that was the time when it's the only time back there.
The SLS showed this short little thing up high between you, Raven, and the person that was standing next to you. Yeah, that was that you Drake? Yeah. Okay.
I couldn't tell on the IR. But yeah, and, oh geez, it was right when it all got heavy in there. Yeah. And they, I mean, they answered a few questions.
Some of them, I mean, one of the things that kind of tipped us off that they were a type three is their answers weren't consistent. And then we kind of poked them in the shoulder a little bit. And that got real ugly. And yeah, at some point, we were just like, we got to get out of here because if we don't, someone's going to get attacked, something bad's going to happen.
So everybody out. One like we've been me. Probably. I'm like, everybody out.
Oh, oh, oh. And we had a couple with us that had kind of a really bad experience at family tree. And I'm like, they did not need another bad experience. So everybody out.
I did also say to him after we walked out of that room. Yeah. So it was, it was pretty nasty. Now one thing I thought was interesting was the REM pod activity.
Do you want to talk about that? Yeah, the first time that REM pod ever had any activity done with it. I have never seen a REM pod. Well, I didn't maybe want it a private investigation, but like on a public investigation, I've never seen a REM pod go off.
I mean, it was amazing. We'd do it on command with a 10 year old boy that we were talking with. And we had the K2 set up there. We had my, we had the K2s, my tri-field set up, your ghost meter, all going off at the same time as the REM pod go off.
And we said, can you set the REM pod off? We'll set it off. Can you do it again? Set it off.
We have it. He was recorded where he set it off. And as we played the video, I can set it off at the same time that the video would set it off. So I will get it put up on by the time you listen to this, it should be on our TikTok.
But it's interesting. Another one of our members brought a little boobearr thinking the kid would be inclined to touch that, but that never went off, did it? He tried, but I'm thinking because so my REM pod has the antenna to it where the boobearr doesn't. Yeah.
Yeah. See, I have a boobearr and I stopped using it a long time ago. They have to actually reach down and try to grab that bear for it to go off. The REM pods are a lot easier to set off than those boobearrs.
And I know the last time I used mine was when we were at Asylum 49 and the two little kids that are there, they would tell us that they were trying to get it to light up. And I just wouldn't. So I don't know. That little boy, the little boy's name was William and he said that he had tried to make it go off, but he couldn't.
Also, he pinched me too. And the interesting thing is I've got this video of him setting off the REM pod like Drake was talking about and I played it for somebody and the little boy responded to our requests from the video in real life. So there was one point, and I couldn't record it because I was planning on expecting it, but he was setting it off at the same time. It was being set off in the video because he was responding to those requests.
We also walked away for a minute just to take a little break and we came back. We're just sitting there and started going off again and we're trying to get our attention because he wanted to interact again. So did you know while you guys were talking to that guy, I actually saw a shadow, a short two foot high shadow come zipping by just about six or seven feet away from me. Oh, yeah.
I remember that. And I think you asked Charles if that was the boy and he indicated yes, correct? Yes. Yeah.
So, you know, that's it's not often I've only seen a few times definitely sure that I saw a shadow figure go by and that was one of them. That's awesome. So, one of our investigators there, Whiskey and his dad, Brian, they had a spirit in their room and her name was Janet and she was interesting because she, if you spoke directly to her, she wouldn't respond. But if you were having a conversation, she would respond to the conversation.
Does that make sense? And then she had a friend that we met down in the dance hall and the friend's name, I don't remember, started with an M and it was French and Whiskey actually speaks French and so he was talking to him French for some reason. She did not like me and she wouldn't talk to me. And when the investigation was all over and we actually went up to Whiskey's room because it's like, hey, come talk to the spirit up there.
Janet and this French gal, it was something like Marguerite or something like that. Was it Madeline? Yes. I was going to remember that because it's like Madeline from the little girl books.
Anyway, Janet was really good friends with Madeline and because she knew that Madeline didn't like me, she wouldn't talk to me either. They were like together in solidarity. And so I tried talking to him for about five minutes as I asked for this. Speaking of the rooms, the accommodations there were very nice.
They were. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. If you're ever driving through P.O.S, it's a destination.
My room was not haunted. I did. When I opened the wardrobe, the hangers were moving just like they were on the Ghost Adventures episode that investigated there. So I'm not sure if that was a spirit or if this whole building just kind of shakes a little.
The ones in my room were doing that too. I slept like a baby. That room, that bed was comfortable and I got a good night. Of course, I was going to be running around town all day.
All exhausted. No, but if you ever just want to have fun and go to a fun little city with super nice people and good food. It's kind of like Tombstone would be Virginia City without being nearly as commercial without being as nearly a touristy. The people were super nice.
That little silver cafe said it's the oldest cafe in Nevada. We ate two meals there because there aren't a lot of places to eat there. We had some great burgers and French dip sandwiches and the morning I had a chicken fried steak. It was a very good place to eat.
I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a little outing that's not too far out. It's only about four hours. Salt Lake. From Salt Lake for four and a half hours.
Get a room there and just go and enjoy it. It's got some nice museums. The upper house, the courthouse. Jail.
Jail. It would have been nice to have three or four days there rather than just a weekend. We had a purpose in mind when we went. If you don't get a sight seat, there's plenty to do.
If you like history of the old west, that's your place. That was fun. There's a lot of stuff to see too. On the way back, we stopped at Cathedral Gorge.
Gorge. State Park in Nevada. That was really cool. That was really cool.
If you want to make a weekend of it and you can't get your fill in. Cedar City is only 90 minutes away. If you go in the summertime, they've got the Shakespearean Festival. Cedar breaks.
It's a really cool part of the country. Those mud slot canyons were amazing, weren't they? They were cool. Raven loved how they got really, really narrow.
There was a couple of places. I had Black Widow's and I have a claustrophobia thing. There was actually one spot. I turned a corner and I was like, oh, hell no.
No. Doc, when we got to the end of some of those, what would you estimate the height was on those? The height on what? Sorry, I missed that.
On the slot canyons. Oh, I don't know. They were very narrow and I would say 30 feet. And even more than that, 50 in some spots.
But yeah, I think deeper you went in, the deeper you got. Actually, I have a couple of pictures up here where we can post some as well. They were pretty impressive. Great stress as well.
No, but when Raven sees people coming out with mud on their clothing, you know, dry mud. And that tells me that you had to slide through things. There were some tight spots. Hard, no.
Hard, no. You can really make a great weekend of P.O. And it was a very fun investigation. It was.
Okay, now that we've been podcasting for a half an hour, would you like to talk about the main topic? Sure. We are going to chat about Mount Shasta. You guys know where Mount Shasta is?
Yes, California. Northern California, right? Northern California is not very far from Oregon. Near the city, town of weed.
A couple of just interesting things about the mountain itself. It's in the range that they kind of refer to as the Cascade volcanoes. But Mount Shasta is actually 15 miles west of all the other peaks. And no one knows why.
Yeah, it's kind of there, but not. There's not any other big mountains around it. Yeah, it's like shouldn't you be over there with those mountains over there? And it's like, no, I like it over here.
Yeah, like if you go to Mount Rainier, it's in the Cascades. And I mean, it's towers above the other Cascades, but there's other mountains around it. But Shasta is just kind of out there. Right.
And it's very prominent. It's 14,162 feet tall and it's so tall that it actually creates its own weather. Yeah. And to give people in Utah and Salt Lake Valley kind of an idea of that.
And Tippanogas is like 11,000 feet. And that's starting at a base of like 4,500 where Shasta is 14,000 and starting basically sea levelish. Yeah, so it's huge. I mean, it's very noticeable.
It's very right there. And it's just associated with a ton of otherworldly, paranormal, mythical beans. That's where they say the lizard people live, right? Yep.
And a lot of Native American folklore around this. It's almost, in fact, I should have written down where I got this from. This isn't my words. It's someone else's.
So if you're listening to these are your words, sorry. But it says it's almost like a who's who of metaphysics. There's just a ton of stuff. You want to tell us about the lizard people?
Well, it's just it's believed to be a home base for the lizard people, reptilian humanoids, that reside underground. And that's about all I know about the lizard people, but they're supposedly not the only odd beings said to inhabit the mountain. Oh, no. So the Native Americans originally believe that the creator, and I'm going to say this poorly, Gamak, Gamak, uk.
Sounds like Vulcan. I know. So the creator Gamak, who resided there, people think it's a home to Bigfoot. And a lot of people think it's like this huge healing vortex.
Yeah, all of the Native American tribes in the area had superstitions about not going above the Timberline because that was the sky people's domain. Some of them believe it's the center of the universe. Yep. In 1899, there's a fellow by the name of Frederick Spencer Oliver, and he published this book called A Dweller on Two Planets.
And in this book, he says that survivors from a sunken continent called Lemuria lived there. And he thinks that they lived in some underground tunnels. So he must have areas because I have one from a land that's lived there too. Yeah.
And in 1904, there was a British prospector named JC Brown. He claimed to have discovered a lost underground city underneath Mount Shasta. We'll actually talk about that in a little bit. But if we go back and talk about the Lemurians for a minute, it was, they think that there's like a hidden complex of tunnels under the mountain called Telos.
Whole city, right? Uh huh. It kind of died when the Pacific Indian Ocean depends on who you ask, kind of overtook it. And I think that, or people think that the Lemurians are still alive and they survived the catastrophe and they settled in this underground city called Telos.
And people say that their offspring have been seen periodically. They're reputed to be seven feet tall with long flowing hair and they wear sandals and white ropes. Where are they seen just in the area? Just in the area.
It's also like a hotbed for UFO sightings and the most recent one that I know of that I could find while I was doing research was in February of 2020, right before the world shut down for COVID. So who knows? I saw some film and some things on some of the YouTube videos I was watching of. It looks like vehicles going directly into the mountain, you know, not stopping or whatever, but you know, going in, there's not a crash or there's not anything else.
But you know, that's what they found at Skinwalker. They actually disappear into the mountain and they have film of it coming back out at a different place. It's, yeah, you're right. They're not going into a hole or a door.
They're just going right into the rock. So we got a couple of stories mainly with a lot of the stuff that came out in 2011 with a six year old boy that disappeared for five hours, I didn't know where and just reappeared. Like nothing had happened. Yeah.
So it was at the 411s or? Yeah, the 411. Missing phenomena. And I don't know if that was one of the stories on there, but I think that was one on there, but it's yeah.
And didn't he like when he was gone when he came back, didn't he talk about his grandma? Yeah, he said there was a woman that reminded me of grandma that was there that kept him safe, walked him around, showed him everything, but he couldn't remember anything he saw but her. And then the grandma, about the same time, I mean, like the real grandma had like she had this weird dream. And so when he told the story, she was like, wait a minute, I had this weird dream where I was joining him around, but it wasn't her because she was like, just, you know, she woke up out of the weird dream and then.
But she may have been on that wavelength and, you know, been carbon copied on that or something. Exactly. And they said that she had actually one account said that she had actually visited up on Chasta previously not too long before this all happened also, but she had just been up there camping also. And if this kid disappeared while camping, I don't know if he was camping, but he was with his family.
He was with his family and exploring and then just gone, doing the tourist thing. Wow. And like they called in all the search parties and the dogs and everything, right? Couldn't find him and then five hours, I don't know where showed up in an area where they had all been.
Yep. Well, so we talked earlier about a fellow named Brown. He was actually hired by the Lord Cow dream mining company of England to look for gold. And according to Brown, he discovered a cave and this cave, when you walk down it, it sloped down 11 miles.
And in the cave, he found a village and he says that this village was filled with gold and shields and mummies and that got my attention. And he said some of these mummies were like 10 feet tall. And you know, so he goes back, he's like, hey, you know, this is what I found. And when they went to take an expedition there, the leader of the expedition disappeared was never heard from again.
So was that because he just disappeared or was that because he had been trying to pull a hoax and got out? But I heard them talking about that also and it's like, but he never took him any from anybody. I mean, it wasn't like perpetuating a hoax to defraud people of money or anything because there was none of that. Right.
There's just like, oh, we hear that there's mummies and gold and shields. Let's let's go get it and poof. The person not the well, the disappeared and was never heard from again. Wow.
You know, these these volcanoes and all around them, you know, there's not just Mount Shasta, there's Mount Lassen, they're, you know, the whole coast as volcanoes. But they've got these lava tubes that, you know, they're like caves, right? They're lava tubes. And I remember walking in one, this was probably 40, 45 years ago.
A friend of mine was in field school working on his, he was an anthropology masters and he didn't have enough money to leave camp. So I drove out there to visit him and he took me through one of these lava tubes and they're just amazing. And, you know, you know, I don't know if the Native Americans use them or if they consider them sacred and stayed away, but people could be lost in some of those and never found. They're just, they're huge.
And I don't know if they've ever been completely explored. So it makes you wonder if some of these, you know, do eventually end up to like the, the lost city of the Lemurians, you know, things like that. Absolutely. Yeah.
And I kind of wanted to add to that, people who are really into kind of new age spirituality, new Mount Shasta as the root chakra. And I was having a little bit of difficulty trying to figure that out because I'm like, root would imply something is down into the earth where I thought Mount Shasta as, you know, a mountain that'd be protruding into the sky. But your comment about lava tubes made a lot of sense to me that maybe that's why people put him to the new age spirituality and his earth chakra is what identified Mount Shasta as the root chakra of you. Well, that makes a lot of sense.
You know, I wonder, I should have researched this before the show. I wonder if Shasta lies on an established lay line. Oh, that would be interesting to find out. I'm going to look that up.
Okay, you look it up at the whole story. Drake, the story that you told in The Little Boy That Disappeared, that was about 2011. Yep. This is the same month in September.
There was a man that was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. This man was from Los Angeles. He heard this beautiful female voice singing kind of coming from the direction of Mount Shasta. So he wanders off the trail.
Now you know to find it and he gets lost. And his claim is that he was abducted and taken into a kind of a dark chamber. Striped of all of his clothing. And there was a tall female with unnaturally blue eyes and strange clothing that appeared and gave him a gift and some secret information which he declined, you know, telling him.
This sounds like every teenage boy's dream so far. Oh, no, right. Okay. So that's his information.
And reportedly he was lost for several weeks. And I don't know if that's his friends reporting that or if that was him. But he survived his ordeal of being kidnapped and stripped with a nuclear with a beautiful woman. But this person now believes he is an incarnation of a messianic Hindu god and he's changed his name to Lord Kalki.
So that's his story. There was another Los Angeles area man and he was with a group of friends kind of doing some spiritual meditating up on the mountain and he decided to take off his shoes and hike up a ways to sit on the rocks on the summit. The storm blew in and his body was found the next day, 9,600 feet below where he was and they couldn't explain why he was was there. That's what the story says.
I think the storm probably blew him off. But it was one of the weird stories. So here's just kind of a few short little snippets. There's a woman named Rudy.
She emailed to report that she saw a bright disc covering about Mount Shasta and she had a picture from from ski resort snow cam and it kind of showed this luminous spec. You can find this online. There was a man named Larry. He recounted his own research and he says that he had telepathic communication with them and he conducted these in preparation for the day that extra, extra, extra, extra, extra drills would reveal things to earthlings.
There's a bunch of secondhand accounts that have kind of come in. There's a forest ranger who talks about spotting Bigfoot on the east side of Mount Shasta and there's a deer hunting couple from weed which is the town right there and they say that they found or they came across a bright chrome vessel on a dark mountain road. A bright chrome vessel? A bright chrome vessel.
Like a ship or a bull. I don't know. All it says is a bright chrome vessel. I'm assuming like a UFO or something.
Yeah, I'm assuming space ship. And then in 2008 the Mount Shasta Herald said that five people claimed to witness a jellyfish light craft that covered, hoistlessly over the neighboring McLeod and they said it looked like it had a fire raging inside of it. Well, so those are just some of the stories that we hear about the area. Did you have any more, Drake?
No, last one I had covered. I did find a map that does show a lay line pretty much passing right through Northern California, very close to Mount Shasta. That's cool. That's interesting.
That explains some stuff. Yes, let's kind of got everything. Big foot, space ships, UFOs, 411 phenomenon, ancient cultures, mummies, pet mummies, nicks, raven happy. Mummy should be first, right Raven?
No, no, no, jellyfish with fires raging inside of them will hover in over Mount Shasta. That's pretty cool. That's pretty cool. Sky jellyfish.
All right, then it just means just a reminder to check out advancedfernal.com. We have all sorts of items. But back to school items you can check it out at Bull's Mugs Appiscience. And also be sure to subscribe on YouTube, TikTok, and you can even follow our group on Facebook.
I'll put up some video on TikTok from P.H. Emmet, what have you got for us today? Okay, you know, when we were in P.H. For some reason something told me take my old SLS.
It's the very first one I ever bought. It's an older version. It doesn't use the same Xbox camera that the ones that we get now, the markets flooded now with the most recent Xbox cameras. And this one has actually fairly powerful, even for five or six years ago, Dell laptop with the detachable keyboard.
And the version of Connect on there is a different version than the one that we all use on our Toshiba Compact SLS cameras. And I haven't used this in so long because it's heavy, first of all, and the little Toshiba tablets, it's a much lighter rig to carry around. So I've been favoring that. But I remembered that old one just wasn't as prone to as many glitches and problems as false hits as the new version is.
And so I went back, I hadn't used it in a while, and we got some really great data with it, by the way, which we'll share as I download. It turns out that Connect Video Capture files are not playable on Windows Media Player, so I'm trying to convert those now to something we can all watch. Which is interesting because it's the same parent company. Yeah, it is.
It is. So I'm not sure what it is, unless it's related to them, just not Xbox. I don't know if it's open source or not. And these, by the way, they still have developer kits for their Connect technology.
You can order a tiny little Connect camera that's, it's the size of a couple of, you know, I don't know, I'm trying to think of something, you know, a pack of Twinkies or something. But it's like six or eight hundred dollars and I haven't been that motivated to order one. But I noticed on this older SLS version, it just has so many more features. It seems like they've just pulled out the 3D map, the mapping for the newest versions.
But this older one, I found, you know, I remembered, oh, it has a 3D option. And I remember experimenting with that at first. But if you get one, if you have one of these older versions, and it doesn't show the figures as just green line stick figures, you know, they actually have different thicknesses for arms and legs. And those of you who are, who are there at P.O.
saw it and knew it was a little bit different than the other version. But it has a 3D option. And it is exactly like what they are now calling the XLS camera, which is like gives you a little 3D version of the room and the people in it, right? So that older Xbox, that older Connect version actually has that XLS option built into it.
So that makes me think that what I see on the shows now, they're purporting it to be the latest SLS technology, calling it XLS with a 3D representation on the screen. That's not nothing new at all that has existed in some of the earlier versions of Connect. Another version of Connect. So you might want to look and explore, if you have an SLS camera, if you have a Connect software, just look at it and try to explore some of all the other little functions and features in there because you just might have that 3D option.
It's just incredibly cool to play with. So you can find. Nice. Thank you.

Your Autumn Patreon package is sitting by my door waiting to be opened. Okay, jump door. So when you all think of ghosts, the first thing that comes to your mind is scary, spooky, creepy, right? I actually have some funny ghost stories for you.
So it's a sit-down. Oh, it's not. Get popcorn. I can't see a lot of random space.
I can talk about it from the scene. You can see I can't see a ghost. I can't see a ghost joke. I, I can't see a ghost joke.
I can see a ghost joke. I can see a ghost joke. I want to ask them. I don't actually see anything about me, but it could definitely be random space for an evening or two hours, going straight to that.
I can't even look at the city. I can't see a ghost joke. never afraid because she knew the lady, she knew the family, they were good people. So this particular time when she was getting ready for a new tenant, she left the house and she's like, you know, I feel pretty good that it's clean and she locked the doors and she went home.
So the next morning she goes back and she was going to meet an electrician and make sure that everything was on the up and up. And she walked into the kitchen and she said, I saw this really weird thing. She said there was a washcloth that was taped onto the vent hood with duct tape and she's thinking, what in the heck? When I left this place was spotless and I would not have left with this monstrosity hanging here.
And she's like, I changed the locks because, you know, new tenant, she's like, I'm the only person that had the keys because she hadn't rented it out yet. And so she kind of goes over and she's taking a closer look and on the inside of this hood it was just greasy and grimy because she'd forgotten to clean it and the ghost was just reminding her, hey, you need to clean this out. That was her takeaway from it. So there is a story from Joy.
She had a neighbor whose son had died in a motorcycle accident when he was 18 years old and for over a year after his death, his mother would see his apparitions standing on the hallway and they lived in a single wide trailer at the time. And when she saw him, it would look like you've just gotten home from his motorcycle ride. And she wasn't scared, but it kind of upset her because no one believed her. She would say, hey, I saw him and I was like, nah, you're just making it up.
Everyone thought it was a coping mechanism. I mean, because that's going to be hard to have your 18 year old son die. Just to jump in here as an aside, but it's related. I worked with a lady for many years, her and her husband and their adult son tragically passed away.
And for years after she kept telling me she could smell his cologne in their house and he didn't live with them. He lived in another city far away, but he had this favorite cologne and she would always smell his cologne for years after his death. Yeah, it's, you know, I think that they definitely come back to visit. But the reason for this gentleman's visit is really interesting.
So one day, and this is the neighbor that's recounting the still, she says one day that they were surprised to find their old single wide trailer gone and there was a new double wide mobile home being moved into their lot. And so the neighbor is like, oh, hey, you know, you got a new trailer. You know, I'm going to mobile home, you know, upgrading, you know, what's going on. And it turns out the husband got up one night, you know, the father of this boy that had died to go to the bathroom and he saw the sun standing in the hallway.
First time anyone's seen this, this apparition except for the mother. And it scared him so bad he refused to sleep in that house again. So he went out and bought a new one and upgraded. And the neighbor said she secretly thanked her son for the gift.
She never saw his apparition again. And he figure, she figures that he was trying to get Mom and Ise her house. Interesting. So there you go.
Wow. What's the next story for you? Alright, well stay spooky my Haunty friends. Have a good night.
