MTA Introduces The Brooklyn-Queens InterBorough Express

Happy New Year, all. As announced this week by New York's Governor Kathy Hochul, the Brooklyn-Queens InterBorough Express will be under review by the MTA. The projected line, which was the former LIRR Bay Ridge branch, will carry 74,000 - 80,000 passengers daily between Southeast Brooklyn and Northern Queens. Project is slated for $1-2 Billion.
