MTN’s Dabengwa Data Centre Opens; Eskom wants Crypto Money; Airtel vs mPesa; and Wave’s $137 Debt Raise

While MTN plans to rival services offered Microsoft Azure, Google and Amazon with its new $120 million data centre in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria named after Sifiso Dabengwa, Eskom plans to service crypto and blockchain services. Could this help pay off Eskom’s billion rand debt? Can Eskom even service high energy demanding crypto services? Also, Airtel seems to be biting off mPesa’s big pie in Kenya as Airtel gain more market share while Safaricom’s mPesa loses.
