This week my guest is Jason Corley, CMAA, Athletic Director for Long Branch (N.J.) Public Schools, and the 2018 Jersey Sporting News Athletic Director of the Year. When Jason took the position for his alma mater he had one overarching goal: ensure today’s Green Wave student-athletes did not make the same academic mistakes he did. Jason readily admits that he wasn’t the best student growing up. It was sports that kept him going to school and eventually motivated him to attend college. He also extends his reach statewide, serving as Divisional Vice President for the Shore Conference of High Schools, Vice President of the Shore Conference of Middle Schools, and Shore Conference Boys’ Lacrosse Tournament Director.
