Anna then commits radio sacrilege by declaring the 1980s a bad decade for music, sending the crew through Jimi Hendrix, Guns N’ Roses, J. Phil adds the news that MTV drops Best Rock from the VMAs, and Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Train, Creed and Nickelback all get dragged into the argument. We pivot to Disney and ABC suing the FCC over accelerated broadcast-license reviews. Nick argues that opinion programs such as Kayal and Company or The View should not be judged as straight-news programs, while Greg warns that conservatives cheering government pressure against media opponents may hate the same power when someone else controls it.
