Mud Lake Port Colborne & Wainfleet Bog

Mud Lake is a lake full of Mud from the 4th Welland Canal. This is one of the few times where something we do as humans has a positive outcome. This is now a marsh area great for wildlife. Mud Lake trails I do think are a great place to try a mountain bike off-road. Just remember that they are shared trails. Keep an eye out for animals. According to a guy we met, Green Winged Teal is here too. We went on to Wianfleet Bog, created from the extraction of peat. This is not a riding spot but worth a walk around.
