Mugabe donates US$1 million to AU

Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has called for more innovative ways of funding African Union programmes. He was speaking at the 29th ordinary session of the AU assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he handed over a one million dollar cheque to the continental body's foundation. The money was raised from the sale his herd as well as those donated by Zimbabweans. Amos Phago reports from Addis Ababa
