The 3 Yes-s allowed me to immigrate to London. My grandma believed I'm a failure because I didn't get married and become a housewife. The urge to grow outside of poverty and be more than my family background helped me to win 7 industry awards and become an Associate Partner in a male dominated technology industry in under 7 years - something only few women manage to succeed. Our generations were taught to hide failures and show ourselves in the best light. But when we bury our stories about failures, out of shame or humiliation, we miss out on a valuable opportunity for growth. What if we change our mindset and start believing that failure is an opportunity to grow?
