Sobia Khan is a professor in food and nutrition at the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (CHCA) at George Brown College (GBC) in Toronto, Ontario Canada. She is also a registered dietitian and has worked in various areas relating to nutrition prevention and management of diabetes such as the Diabetes Comprehensive Care program at St. Michael's Hospital. Sobia obtained her bachelor of science in biology and pharmacology at McMaster University. She then completed her dietetic internship at The Hospital for Sick Children and her master of science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto.  Sobia is the author of a new multicultural diabetes cookbook titled "150 Best Indian, Asian, Caribbean and More Diabetes Recipes".
