MultiDyne Enhances openGear with 7800 Series & Hybrid Solutions | IBC2025

At IBC 2025, we speak with Jesse Foster from MultiDyne about the new 7800 series in their openGear platform. This series serves as the hub for a wide range of broadcast and AV solutions, supporting everything from camera adapters and PTZ extensions to field fibre systems. With redundant power and cooling, the 7800 series provides unmatched reliability in the machine room and across the broadcast ecosystem.Jesse also discusses the JPEG XS and 2110 gateway products (6060 and 6061), which enable hybrid solutions within the openGear frame. This integration simplifies workflows, combining the power of the base station with audio, video, and time code in a compact form factor. MultiDyne’s openGear platform offers users flexibility to choose the best products for the job, without being locked into a single ecosystem.
