Send us Fan MailIn this installment of The PrimateCast, Andrew and Chris are joined by Dr. Cyril Grueter of the University of Western Australia.In February and March of 2012, Dr. Cyril Grueter visited PRI to meet with colleagues to discuss the various projects in which he is involved, including the ecology of temperate primates and the evolution of multi-level societies. We took the opportunity to bring him to the studio to discuss his research, from his PhD work on the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey through his postdoctoral work on mountain gorillas in the Virungas. A major focus of the interview is on the evolution of multi-level societies in nonhuman primates, and what that might mean for our understanding of human social systems evolution as well.The PrimateCast is hosted and produced by Andrew MacIntosh.
