Muny’s Iconic Seats Are Being Replaced | St. Louis News

The Muny is getting a major makeover, starting with the removal of its iconic green seats—11,000 of them after 25 years—to make way for a $9.5 million renovation. Beyond new seating, the upgrade includes a rebuilt drainage system to handle St. Louis weather. Fans can even bid on historic seat pairs for sale in September. This overhaul, set to begin after the 2026 season, aims to keep the beloved venue at the top of its game for decades to come.
