In June 2014, Catherine Martinez was brutally murdered by her ex. Catherine had recently broken off the relationship after he had been abusive. On July 1, 2014 her ex walked in to a Houston police station to confess the two had gotten in to a fight. But when paramedics arrived they found Catherine dead.
