MURDERED: Sonya Ivanoff

According to The National Crime Information center there are over 5700 cases of murdered and missing indigenous women in the US. According to nativewomenswilderness.org only 116 of those cases are reported in the U.S. department of justice’s database.  Alaska, the last frontier holds  229, a quarter, of those cases according to dataforindigenousjustice.com. 19 year old Alaska Native, Sonya Ivanoff, is one those MMIWs from Alaska.
