[Music] Good Morning Daddy - Song of Morning Joy with Your Family as a Dad

This is a song I wrote years ago. It started as a poem.. then in became a song. I wanted to capture the joy of seeing my new baby's face connecting with my darling wife's face.. This is the original poem that led to this song.. Hope you enjoy the poem and the song. Good morning Daddy, isn't it a beautiful day ? Aren't we going to have a great day together Daddy ? Play with me Daddy, just let me be near you, watch you do the things you do. I learn so much just watching you Daddy. And when you pick me up I feel so safe, so protected, so loved. Daddy, I love you.   And what about the joy of watching your wife and your baby together ? The love they have for each other, when their faces are only inches apart when her eyes and the babies eyes are locked in a bond that no man can break. When they talk to each other in a language which overflows with love. You can just feel the power of it in the air. It brings tears to your eyes and a surge of pride and joy from deep inside your belly.   It happens every day, and it never ceases to amaze me.   This my friend, is life.
