Music Masla - A Spicy Blend of Music and Life is an exciting Radio 4EB project! Over a period of six months, project staff spent days traipsing around south-east Queensland, discovering not just the music, but the passions and lifestyles of 11 culturally diverse artists.

The song Cumbia de la sal is a perfect example of Son Semilla’s style. Three Aussie Rocker’s discover a love for Latin music while a Colombian rooted in Latin music discovers a love for Rock. This song draws from the Latin Cumbia genre and when sped up moves towards punk, with a rap thrown in for good measure. It’s story takes us back to the origins of good and evil, and the all conquering power of music and dance.

This is the full interview with Juan from Son Semilla as part of the Music Masala Project.
