Music Masala - Son Semilla

Music Masla - A Spicy Blend of Music and Life is an exciting Radio 4EB project! Over a period of six months, project staff spent days traipsing around south-east Queensland, discovering not just the music, but the passions and lifestyles of 11 culturally diverse artists. The song Cumbia de la sal is a perfect example of Son Semilla’s style. Three Aussie Rocker’s discover a love for Latin music while a Colombian rooted in Latin music discovers a love for Rock. This song draws from the Latin Cumbia genre and when sped up moves towards punk, with a rap thrown in for good measure.
