Sometime back in 2000, I stumbled onto a compilation CD from a label named 'Second Skin' that featured many unknown, underground stars of the drum and bass genre. Drum and bass is a genre of electronic music that was born in the UK during the mid-late 1990's. Its sound is built on a foundation of Jamaican dub and reggae. This music is fast paced breakbeats, heavy bass & sub-bass lines,  samples, subwoofers, risers, drops and melodic synths, an amalgam of music ranging from 165-185 BPMs (beats per minute). It was called 'jungle' when it first rose to prominence and transformed into what is known today as one of most provocative, musical and complex styles of music ever exported from the raves of the UK. I've selected some of the best cuts I know and put them into mix of blazing, thunderous and magical proportions. So come with me....let's take a walk on the wild side.
