Send us Fan MailLISTEN: Pete and The Halbrooks Family Band formed recently. It started with a trio of Peter Herod, Em Halbrooks, and Kevin Halbrooks, with Jason Lowry eventually joining the group. Occasionally, the group will bring in a fifth or a sixth member as guest artists, but for the most part, the group consists of the three core members and Lowry. Herod says that bluegrass music was the most prevalent influence and inspiration for starting the group, as the instruments they play (banjo, upright bass, fiddle) lend themselves to bluegrass.Our theme song is courtesy of singer-songwriter Brittney Wagner.
