Musical Frequency of Love and Healing | Interview with Dexy and Chris Valentine of Magic Wands

Los Angeles- based dark dream pop duo MAGIC WANDS was formed by guitarists and vocalists  Chris and Dexy Valentine. The band is known for their shimmering and dreamy sound, which incorporates elements of gothic post punk, and dark dream pop.  Their music is characterized by its heavily-textured guitars, droning synths, and ethereal vocals, which are designed to create an otherworldly atmosphere and along with the band's ethereal melodies, tuned to the frequency of love and healing at 528 Hz, creates a truly enchanting musical experience.Magic Wands have released several albums to date, each showcasing their  unique sound and style. Their debut album, "Aloha Moon"was released in 2012 by Bright Antenna, then touring  with The Jesus and Mary Chain in that summer. The second album, "Jupiter" was released via  Cleopatra Records in 2016. In 2018, they released their third studio album "Abrakadabra" and "Illuminate" followed two years later. Magic Wands  just released their latest remix album entitled "Switched," the companion to their critically acclaimed 5th Studio album "Switch."
