from The John Henry Soto Show · host John Henry Soto

Tab Laven, guitarist, singer and songwriter is currently on a highly successful world tour with Art Garfunkel, which has included sold-out performances at Carnegie Hall, London's Royal Albert Hall, the Olympia Theatre in Paris, France. Tab started his career at 21 years of age performing worldwide with Mary Macgregor (Torn Between Two Lovers). He played banjo on Jars Of Clay's Grammy Award winning album, The Eleventh Hour. Recorded and performed with Michael Johnson, who had a top ten pop hit with "Bluer Than Blue", followed by several country hits in the 1980's. His debut album of self-penned songs, Cranberry Red Balloon, features him as the lead singer and guitarist, with Art Garfunkel joining him on the title track. Each song on this landmark album feels like an old friend; familiar and nostalgic. Background vocals include Bruce Johnston (Beach Boys), Vicki Peterson (The Bangles) and John Cowsill (The Cowsills).
