Musicians Matters Podcast Ep 50 w/Calvin Moody | Drummer

Calvin Moody is a native of Atlanta, Georgia born in 1988. Started playing drums at the age of 5, in his grandfather’s church. With no formal training by age 10, Calvin began to travel around the state playing for different artists and choirs. In high school he entered the marching band and jazz band where he began to read music. After high school he attended Atlanta Institute of Music. Currently Calvin is the drummer for the Atlanta Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. He is also the the drummer for the Enon Church in College Park, Ga. Calvin married his high school sweetheart they have been together 16years and they have 2 boys, who he loves spending time with when he’s not playing drums.--
