Fair to say that our Head of Football - Rob McCartney, and the entire football department have had an intense couple of weeks of late. Not only did wheeling and dealing throughout the AFL Trade Period lead to a host of player incomings and outgoings, but a number of other list changes have also been made. And as we head towards the November Draft, we sat down with McCartney to touch base on a whole range of topics adding to the overarching theme around the state of our list. In the chat, McCartney talked to us about: * The frantic trade period and how our deals got done; * The additions of Jack Ginnivan, Mabior Chol and Massimo D’Ambrosio; * The return of Jack Gunston and why he is most certainly part of our development roadmap; * Chris Newman’s departure and a possible replacement; * Finishing 16th and where we think we are at; * Con; * Chad Wingard and the decision to re-sign him; * Sammy’s message ahead of the off-season; and more. We are pretty sure you will enjoy this one, so sit back, relax, and enjoy, as we take you on some feel-good reflection of the journey we are currently on.
