There is high risk of leptospirosis due to contact with flood water as well as fungal and bacterial infections.Many people have lost access to basic medical services, both physically and in terms of availability of medications. As people return to their homes, there is also a growing need for disinfectant supplies and basic hygiene and sanitary products.Our solidarity is grounded in the want to prevent flood-borne illnesses and help people rebuild with dignity.
