Belgijski umetnik Ežen Isaj smatran je „kraljem violine“ zbog izvanrednog izvođačkog umeća kojim je oduševljavao publiku širom sveta. Svom instrumentu posvetio je brojna dela, a pisao je i za kamerne sastave i orkestar. Bio je veoma cenjen i kao dirigent.
