My Blepharoplasty Blog (Eye Lid ) Surgery

from Skin Deep · host Corinna Tolan

I remember the day I looked in the mirror, and it dawned on me that I had been living a lie. I had lived all my life thinking I had my mum's eyes. An eye, I can assure you, that would never require a Blepharoplasty. That day, I realised I had inherited my dad's eyes. It's funny how I loved my mum's brown eyes because they reminded me of her; I never had the same warm feeling when it came to my dad's heavy eyelid. Lol. I decided at that moment that I would have a blepharoplasty at some stage in the future, only considering it again once I was invited to London to interview the recently appointed medical director of Environ Skincare, Dr Matthias Aust. After a few glasses of Rioja in Claridges, I felt ready to ask Dr Aust if he would be so kind as to perform the procedure. And here I am. 14 days post-surgery, ready to give you all the details. I want to thank the amazing Dr Matthias Aust for his professionalism and patience. He made the whole procedure a very positive experience and was constantly on hand to evaluate and reassure when required. You will find Dr Aust and his team here: https://www.instagram.com/aust_aesthetik/ Thank you to Lusso Tan for making this possible. Shop 20% off using my code SKINDEEP20 at LussoTan.com.
