“My boyfriend says marrying me would be adultery!”

Is our experience with the Holy Spirit different from believers in the Old Testament? How were they saved? What does God think about women leaders in the church? I know we are free from the Law for salvation, but what about for daily living? What does it mean to have springs of living water flowing out of us? My boyfriend says he cannot marry me because it would be adultery!
