Today's guest is Freya O' Horo, a 21 year old social care practitioner student from Co. Mayo. Freya shares with us the challenges it brought to her family when her brother Dian was diagnosed with Autism. As his sibling, Freya shares the ways in which she learned to help and support Dian, and in doing so started to raise awareness in Autism Siblings Ireland which is now celebrating its fifth year. Freya has created a blog in which She shares how Dian's autism has helped her become more patient and understanding, life skills that will stand to her in all areas of her life now and in the future. She helps bring more education and understanding to the people who have Autism and how we as the wider public can learn to be more tolerant and compassionate. A wonderful young lady with so much compassion and it was a great pleasure to see the love for her brother Dian pouring out with every word.
