February 14, 2024 Daily Devotion: "My Champion Defender" Psalms 62:1-2 TPT I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wrap around presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? Remembering that God is faithful will bring release from the weight of our worries. So let’s hold to the perspective that God is at work and keep our eyes fixed on the solution rather than the problems. Then, like David, we will be able to say, “I will not be greatly shaken”. While you are learning to release your burdens, be sure to talk to God in prayer and wait in hope for Him. And never forget that He is your rock and salvation. That is true relief.
