My Cousin and Fierce Global Advocate - Cynthia Changyit Levin
from The Real and The Woo with Lauri Stern · host Lauri Stern
I am so thrilled to have my very talented and very cool cousin, Cynthia. It’s so nice when someone you know and love is doing so much good in the world for so many whom she knows and loves and thousands she doesn’t. What makes her such a powerful advocate and human champion is her ability to look past barriers others may find insurmountable or untenable in the political climate and beyond in order to advocate for others, especially those without voices of their own or access to make change where they live. In the realm of advocacy, it’s often a personal experience that ignites the spark within. Cynthia explains that spark and how she keeps the fire burning. I am so grateful for all she’s already achieved and look forward to all she may continue to do. About Cynthia: She is the author of “From Changing Diapers to Changing the World: Why Moms Make Great Advocates and How to Get Started” and the upcoming "Advocacy Made Easy" handbook launching in the summer of 2025. A non-partisan activist working across a variety of issues, Levin coaches volunteers of all ages to build productive relationships with members of Congress. She advocated side-by-side with her two children from their toddler to teen years and crafted a new approach to advocacy based upon her strengths as a mother. She is currently a volunteer with RESULTS, the ONE campaign, Bread for the World, CARE, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, MomsRising, and the UN Foundation’s Shot@Life Campaign.Book info“From Changing Diapers to Changing the World: Why Moms Make Great Advocates and How to Get Started.” is available on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and can be ordered at any independent bookstore.
