My COVID Story: Jacinta's story

My COVID story is a series we are running where we will be sharing stories from different individuals about their personal experiences during the pandemic. We hope that this series will help you find the courage to share your experiences and make room to listen to other people’s experiences. in doing so, we hope that you will develop more empathy and compassion for yourself and others and that you will find healing and peace. In the sixth episode of this series, I have a chat with a physiotherapist and dear friend of my family, Jacinta. Jacinta shares her experience working as an essential worker during the pandemic. She shares some stories about working with her clients, and how she found hope working with them and inspired hope in them. She also talks about some of her fears during the pandemic, how she got COVID-19 at some point and, some of the effects she has seen the disease has had on her clients.
