Head Distiller John, is American by birth, but I think he has become an honorary Irishman. His love and passion for the historic legacy of Irish Pot Still whiskey is large as Blackwater Distillery's founder, Peter Mulryan. I really enjoyed my visit to Blackwater. I have high expectations for their whiskey in the coming years. John's dog Finnegan shadowed us for much of our chat, stealing as many rubs and pats as he could.
