But this is the first time I've heard of a dog eating so much poop that they are pooping about 4 or 5 times more than normal..If you have a dog that eats poop, this one is for you! But honestly, if you have a dog with any objectionable behaviors like jumping, barking, counter surfing, etc, this is all super valuable information. We are inhibiting a bad behavior. This is done by marking the behavior and attaching a contingent negative consequence to it that is so intolerable that you create a long lasting inhibition. The brain decides this isn't a behavior that should not be executed anymore. You've probably heard all the silly remedies involving pumpkin and pineapple or cayenne. But none of that works. This does.It can be a little trickier than that with behaviors that tend to occur when you're not watching, so it's important to implement a very high level of structure and supervision during the training process until you know that your dog is trustworthy, or in this case, poop-proofed. Support the showLove the show?
