“My door is always open” is the route to burnout

To be a good supervisor your door does not always have to be open. In fact, if you do not have any sort of boundaries you will not be a very effective leader because although you want to be seen as helpful and always available, it will most certainly burn you out.You don't have to be available all the time to show that you care.Here's to shutting that door from time to time.Jonny
