My Favorite Design Tool

First, the Finisher's Journal is an AMAZING planner that has totally revolutionized how I handle my days. I feel so much more focused on the actual tasks that matter. But, this episode is primarily about Canva. Canva is the design tool that I use every single day. I started to learn design by taking a class on Adobe Illustrator. Then I graduated to the Affinity suite. All of these tools are great, but it's a slow process for me to create something using them. Instead, I started using Canva. Canva is great because all of the things you need to make a pretty decent design are right there in the app. You don't have to go searching for extra images to add to your design it's all in there. A little hack that I've done before is if I don't have an idea about where to start, I will send my colors to an actual designer on Fiverr or Freelancer. They produce something I like then, for all of the other designs I need for the project, I just use the logo as inspiration and kind of riff off of that design. Canva is fun! Seriously, it's where I spend so much of my time. If you're not a designer yet, I highly recommend becoming a Canva designer.
