My favourite places - Sydney

from Wildlife and Adventure Photography · host Graham

Send us Fan MailHaving lived in Sydney, I'm bound to be a little biased. But it definitely is one of my favourite places. From a nature and wildlife perspective, Sydney has access to great national parks and bushwalks, and, of course, humpback whales for six months of the year.If you like history, it offers museums that are on a par with many European and US exhibitions, many of which have regular speaking guests and temporary exhibitions. (And I recommend "The Fatal Shore" by Robert Hughes if you're interested in the history of the  early European settlement.)It is also home to two of the structures that define Australia; the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. If you're thinking about going, give it a go!It's time for another podcast...
